1. Loves Cuddles
They are great cuddlers and loves to join you in your bed, on your couch, and wherever.
2. Loves to Play
Beagles love anything to do with playing. Playing fetch, finding their favourite toy that you hid, even going on a treat treasure hunt.
3. Likes Other Dogs
This may not apply to every of them, but beagles love to be with other dogs. They would want to say hello when they see another dog even opposite street though it might end up to be a playing session.
4. Loves Food
This could be counted as a con, and it is kind of one too. They might be eager to join in your dinner if you are having something that smells delicious. But think of it in another way, they won’t be too picky about their food and treats.
5. Loves People
Beagles would get excited when you’re having visitors, especially kids. Small kids may be scared of them but once they’ve calmed down, they’re a sweetheart. Again this might not be the case for every Beagles, but most of them loves humans.
6. Low Coat Maintenance
Beagles have short coat so you won’t have to worry too much about it.
7. You Can’t Stay Mad at Them
Your Beagle may did something that makes you mad. But when you see them being all cute with their favourite toy, then coming to give you a lick. Beagles are trying to hypnotise us with their cuteness.

Beagles are cute dogs and may do something funny that makes your day. They also have long ears that are very amusing.
1. Digs up Your Yard
Beagles like to dig up dirt. If you see a big hole in your yard, it’s probably your dog. But if you’re living in an apartment you won’t have to deal with this.
2. Barks Loud
Their bark is kind of like a howl, so it is very loud and might be annoying for some people.
3. They Flee
On walks, make sure you keep your beagle on a leash or they might run away and never come back. Blame it on their nose. They probably have selective hearing when they smell something nice and would just follow their noses. Make sure you keep an eye on them to prevent any accidents.
4. Loses Hair
While their coat don’t require much attention, unfortunately, Beagles do lose hair. If you’re not happy with your couch full of hair, just avoid letting your dog up on your couch.
5. They are Stubborn
Beagles are stubborn, it is inevitable. They may not listen to your commands.
6. Slave to Their Nose
Beagles are nose on four legs, they will stop in middle of walks just to sniff everything or just run away when they smell something incredible.
7. Loves Food
This is partly connected with their strong sense of smell. Sometimes they smell something good and they can’t resist from begging for food even if you just fed them. But be careful as to not over feed your dogs to prevent having a fat beagle.
8. Has a lot of Energy
Beagles are always full of energy, except after a long walk. Puppies and sometimes even adults, pull hard on the leash. All puppies have a time when they go wild and crazy, just put them in your yard, if you have one, and let them run as much as they can.
